Technology
The Uconnect 5 Multimedia System offers a 3D navigation feature, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility, and multiple user profiles. Enjoy voice activation technology, and an Uconnect LTE Wi-Fi package with a 4G hotspot. The Alpine audio system includes 506 watts of surround sound via nine premium speakers. Harman Kardon sound systems are available with certain models.
Design Elements
With its distinct upper grille, front fascia, and sculpted hood, the Durango has a strong, sporty appeal. The LED projector headlamps, daytime running lamps and tail lamps enhance its bold design. Standard seating is designed with a 60/40 split, reclining bench seat in the second row. 50/50 split-folding is also available for third-row seating.
Performance
The 3.6-litre Pentastar VVT V6 is the standard engine. Including a TorqueFlite eight-speed automatic transmission, this engine has 295 horsepower and 260 lb-ft of torque. The 6.4-litre HEMI V8 engine includes a TorqueFlite eight-speed automatic transmission. Enjoy 475 horsepower and 470 lb-ft of torque. The 6.2-litre HEMI engine is included with the Hellcat trim, offering 710 horsepower and 645 lb-ft of torque.
Safety Features
Parking is no longer an issue with the Durango’s Park-Sense Front and Rear Assist System, including Blind-Spot Monitoring as a standard feature. The Rear Cross-Path detection feature engages when the vehicle is in reverse. A Lane Departure Warning system uses electric power steering to keep your Durango in the correct lane.
